It is certainly the time of year for sports’ fans. And I believe that true baseball fans really enjoy major league baseball as well.

But we should mention that there is year-around NBA basketball with the women’s version during the summer and the men’s NBA still in progress. Yes it’s playoff time for men.

The great college playoffs for both women and men won’t be forgotten. The women can play at a level of competition even exceeding the mens’ game in some aspects.

This past D1 hoops certainly was one for the ages in both men and women’s action.

Sports fans enjoy golf, tennis and track and field, just to name a few other sports outdoor. Let’s hope that the weather will be favorable for our area events. I believe there are activities planned in Ipswich on Saturday.
