They found a last-minute opponent to replace Faulkton for the Ipswich and Edmunds Central homecoming football game last Friday in Ipswich. It turned out to be Watertown-based Great Plains Lutheran, who would be seeking their initial victory of the season.

But the Panthers went away empty-handed once again as the Tiger D pitched its second shut out (44-0) and improved to 5-1.

GPL fumbled their kick return to start out the night and Trevor Beyers grabbed the football at the enemy 27. Six plays later Luke Peterson delivered a 4-yard TD run and Ian Beyers passed to Carter Geditz for the two-p...
