Homecoming win for I/EC gridders

They found a last-minute opponent to replace Faulkton for the Ipswich and Edmunds Central homecoming football game last Friday in Ipswich. It turned out to be Watertown-based Great Plains Lutheran, who would be seeking their initial victory of the season.

But the Panthers went away empty-handed once again as the Tiger D pitched its second shut out (44-0) and improved to 5-1.
