Tigers get win at Warner Classic over Wolverines

The Ipswich Tiger boys varsity outlasted Herreid/ Selby Area 41-40 in a non-conference Warner Classic basketball clash last Saturday in Warner.
The opening half was sort of a tale of two quarters. Ipswich got off to a 15-0 lead and still led 15-2 at the first-quarter break. Then it was the Wolverines' turn for a lenthy run, drawing to within two points, 21-19 at intermission.
The second half proved to be a lot tighter with HSA actually grabbing a 32-31 lead with a quarter to play. But Ipswich won the final quarter's scoring battle 10-8 to escape with the one-possession one-point lead. Ahead...
