Ipswich traveled south to face HIghmore-Harrold in a girls varsity basketball encounter on February 15. But the Tiger girls were topped 57-33 by the host team.

The Pirates would grab an early working advantage, pirating a 21-8 first-quarter lead. They would also lead 36-18 at intermission and would then out-score Ipswich 13-3 during the third quarter. But Ipswich was able to salvage the final quarter with a 12-8 lead of its own thus trimming what would have been its final deficit by four points.
