Ipswich earned a huge 50-20 Lake Region football conference win over Faulkton Area last Friday at the IHS sports complex.
The Tigers slowly established control of the scrimmage line after an early stand-off on the scoreboard. The first quarter was an especially busy one. Ipswich marched towards TD territory and capped its initial drive with a 52-yard pass from Ian Beyers to Tyler Hettich. But Faulkon immediately answered with a 76-yard scoring run by Roman DiMaria. (Neither conversion play would succeed.) The visitors then stunned Ipswich with a 36-yard jaunt by Garrett Cramer into paydirt...
