Ipswich volleyball 1-1 in last week's action

Baylee Kulesa in volleyball action last week in Ipswich.


Ipswich made it look quite easy in a high school volleyball clash vs. Langford last Thursday in the Tiger Den.

The Tigers indeed swept LRC rival Langford 25-10, 25-14 and 25-16. They built a working lead in the opening set with a trio of aces by Madison Geditz that capped a seven point run, giving the Tigers a 14-4 edge at that juncture of the set.

Then Kaylin Onkens's kill provided the set point in set number two.

The third set and match point would then be a kill by Gracie Lange to complete the third set and match. Coach Osborne called that shot "a rocket down the line"...
