Boys lose close battle at James Valley Christian

Ipswich lost a boys high school basketball outing to James Valley Christian in Huron Saturday, Jan. 21. The final score was 57-52 with the host team on top. This was a hard-fought affair with two well-matched teams going at it.
Ipswich would lead 9-8 after a quarter, but the hosts would jump ahead 27-24 at intermission and then extended that lead to 39-35 after three quarters were in the books awaiting the final outcome.
The hosts were led by Landon Wager with 15 points followed by Dax Frandsen with 13 points. Landon Wallman was also in the double-figure scoring column with 12 points. And J...
