The North Central cross country team attended an invitational near Redfield on August 31.

There were two NC varsity girls in their race — Grace Roth 46th in 23:30.83 and Kassandra Abbas 53rd in 24:02.72.

Ella Boekelheide of Northwestern won the girls event in 18:20.10, while the boys varsity winner would be Nicholas Schlachter of Potter County in 16: 59.60.

The NC boys did manage seventh of 16 teams in the team standings that were won by Dupree. One reason would be Anthony Miller 28th in 19:02.06 and Drew Arbach was next for NC in 32nd at 19:12.68. Their next scorer was Avery Wel...
