Tigers stop Crusaders at home

Sunshine Bible's volleyball team was able to hang around pretty well Thursday, Sept. 7 in Ipswich, but the host team would still prevail in a straight-sets 3-0 sweep.

Ipswich indeed had to rally to capture the first set 25-21 after the SBA netters had manufactured a brief 21-18 lead.

Ipswich then found the second set to be a little more relaxing with its 25-15 victory. And the third set was capped by a Kaylin Onken kill for the Tigers' set point and match point and a 25-19 win.

Ipswich would end up with 70 accurate hits including 35 kills, led by Gabby Wald at 24/30 with 15 kills. Marley Guthm...
