Thunder Cross Country in Class A race in Sioux Falls

Anthony Miller in Class A action in Sioux Falls on Saturday.
North Central sent several runners to the State A Cross Country State Meet last Saturday in Sioux Falls.
Their top individual effort came in the boys' meet where Gabe Johnson was 44th in 17:33.72. Senior Anthony Miller was next at 54th in 17:40.34. Drew Arbach had a 18:11.43 effort for 69th and Avery Wells was 92nd in 18:52.33. Another Thunder thinclad was Aaron Ingerson at 106th in 19:31.42 and Jason Arbach added a 19:46.95 effort for 111th.
The NC boys team placed 12th in Class A competition. Hill City won the boys division with 26 points, led by Luke Rupert in first place at 15:26.51.
The NC girls were led by Melanie Dallenbach in 87th at 21:33.11. Grace Roth added a 22:44.33 for 115th.
The Class A girls team champions turned out to be Sioux Falls Christian with 27 points, led by SF Chrisian's Corinne Braun at 18:02.59.
