The Ipswich girls varsity basketball team obtained back-to-back wins last weekend. They indeed topped Waverly-South Shore 43-29 on Saturday during Warner's Classic after edging Sunshine Bible Academy at home on Friday by a 53 to 44 verdict.

They played well defensively vs. WSS. They would lead 9-5 after a quarter and then be ahead 24-14 at halftime. They increased their advantage to 34-18 after three quarters and coasted to a victory.
