    Edmunds Central School had Jaxon & Jhett Hartung Fan Support Night on Friday, Feb. 3 at the North Central vs. Ipswich basketball games. NC fans and IHS fans helped support the fundraiser. The event sponsored by the EC P.A.C. and EC Student Council featured a pie auction and split pot raffle.     The Feeding South Dakota Mobile Food Pantry will return to Edmunds County soon. The Food Pantry will be in Ipswich on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Edmunds County 4-H Building. The Food Pantry will be in Bowdle on Friday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowdle. Proxy pickups are allowed.     Edmunds Central's presentation of Epic Fail at the State One-Act Play Festival was named a Class B Superior Play on Feb. 4. The Festival was held in O'Gorman School in Sioux Falls Feb. 2-4.     Daryl D. Haar, 63, Bowdle, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota in Sioux Falls. Daryl Dean Haar, son of Lila (Job) and Dawaine Haar, was born at Ipswich on February 9, 1959. He was brought up near Bowdle and attended Bowdle Public School, graduating with the Class of 1977. He was then employed with Perry Hoffman Harvesting. Daryl married Dianna Frankfurth at Bowdle on June 30, 1978.
