    The Stephanie Miller-Davis Library Summer Reading Grant Program has continued its fourth year supporting summer reading programs in small rural communities in partnership with the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) and the South Dakota State Library (SDSL). The program has now distributed nearly $150,000 to libraries in rural communities across South Dakota. The Marcus P.   • Richland Church to honor graduates Sunday morning

    The Richland Church will be honoring the graduates from several area high schools during their morning worship service this Sunday, April 30. This year, six high school graduates will be honored. Pastor Stephen Duncan will be speaking during the morning worship service at 10:45 a.m. A special prayer time for the graduates will be held at the conclusion of the service.     Ipswich attended a high school track and field event hosted by Bon Homme last Tuesday and it was well worth the trip south. The Ipswich girls indeed out-pointed Cedar Catholic of Hartington, Nebraska 108-101 for their team title, while the Tiger boys finished second only to that Nebraska school 131-103. Nine girls and boys teams were entered in that meet. How successful were the Tigers according to coach Todd Thorson?     Ipswich attended a high school golf invite at a Wessington Springs course on April 19. For the boys Blake Larson of Wessington Springs individually bettered teammate Brock Krueger 71 to 73 for first-place honors. Meanwhile, Ipswich's Jace Konsor had a 77 for ninth. He was followed by Tucker Kadlec at 79 and Chet Peterson with his 82. Hayden Schlosser had a 89 and Sam Bass rounded out their effort with a 107.
