Gertie (Kamryn Boettcher) and Millie (Emily Knoll) walk with police officers Shaylee Coisman and Matt Jaenisch in a scene in Larceny and Old Lace.

A cast of IHS students will present Larceny and Old Lace on Friday, April 22, produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Company and written by Van Vandagriff.

Admission is free at both shows, which are 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Ipswich School Theater. The public is welcome at both performances; there will also be a livestream of the 7 p.m. show (look for a link on the school's Facebook page Friday).

The play a spoof of Arsenic and Old Lace. In this all-ages show, Harold Peabody discovers a dark secret about his two aunts, Millie and Gertie. Harold's Uncle Charlie thinks he's a pirate, and Harold's fiancé, Gloria is just confused.

The play stars Kaden Boettcher, Matt Jaenisch, Kamryn Boettcher, Lilly Judkins, Emily Knoll, Quincy Olivier, Jersey Peschong, Sam Grabowska, Adam Kanable, Evelyn Tran, Kadyn Weisser, Savannah Coisman, Shaylee Coisman, Brooks Osborne, Ashton Santema, with a special guest appearance by Laurel Schamber. The play is directed by Michelle Sihrer.
