Ipswich traveled to Miller for a girls/boys twinbill last Thursday and sustained a pair of non-conference varsity defeats.
The Tiger girls would drop a 38-29 decision and the boys sustained a 75-59 setback.
In that girls game the Tigers would trail 6-2, 14-12 and 25-22 at the respective quarter endings. Miller would then own a 13-7 final quarter scoring edge in what turned out to be quite a defensive struggle.
