    The Ipswich Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) hosted “Business After Hours!” on November 16 in Agtegra. Development Corporation president Scott Kilber opened the idea session. The IEDC worked with the ICDC to focus on and study the local economy. They made a list of recommendations to build a thriving and resilient local economy.     The Edmunds County 4-H Recognition Event was held Tuesday, November 15 at the 4-H Building in Ipswich. The evening started with a potluck supper followed by the awards ceremony. The 4-H members, leaders, and friends of 4-H were honored for their accomplishments and contributions.     November Summaries Last week I mentioned that November through 47 years is mostly a dry month (.62 average precip.) and temps. in the average range of 40 degrees high during the day time and 20 night time. There are some exceptions though and last week I mentioned five Novembers that were different.     The volleyball season came to a conclusion last week in Sioux Falls. And Warner won the B for the second straight year, while Sioux Falls Christian won the Class A event as you might correctly have predicted. (They certainly don't like to lose!)     On October 25, 2022, Mary Kub East of Ann Arbor, Mich. passed away at the age of 72 years, alongside a loving family who cared for and loved her very much. Mary was born October 4, 1950 in Aberdeen. Her family lived on a farm southwest of Ipswich that had been homesteaded by her grandfather Albert in 1906 and still remains in the family.
